Just ordered mine. I typically never have issue with CAGS, but I can't take the chance having the wife worry or fight it. It is a safety issue in some ways IMO...

I subscribed to this thread; so I get notifications regularly. Even thogh I have alraedy responded here, let me respond again by saying that the skip shift eliminator is absolutely great. If you don't have one yet, get it immediately. The 1-4 shift is absolutely annoying and the skip shift takes care of that. I wish I got mine Quick delivery and easy install. I had a question about the eliminator kit.. If it is installed, the light still comes on? And basically if I can shift from first to second when the light is illuminated, that would mean it is installed right? Thanks for your help!

If the car shifts from first to 4th it will fall on its face at low rpm i do not understand if you press the gas pedal and shift from 1 to 2nd lower then 2000 rpm yo should of bought a Ford pinto

I don't have a lift or a floor jack and stands, went with the fuse gadget. 10 second install, works like a charm.

We used to sell a fuse version of the skip shift eliminator, it turned out to have such a high failure rate that we discontinued it. My suggestion these days is to use the product we're advertising in this thread. They never fail and they're not expensive.
