Please read this whole message as it is important!

Thank you for the great month of February. Everyone really piled up on us and gave us their business. With that said, I've been pretty much MIA this week. We received March price increases and with trying to get that all straightened out and the high volume of orders and everything that goes with those orders I am a bit behind. These specials were important to many so I worked on getting these prices and the prices on the site fixed. I will get to my backlogged emails and requests right away. I thank you all for your business and patience.

On to the March C6 list. We still do not have any C6 console lids with logo yet. GM keeps giving us an ETA and then when that ETA comes, it goes and then we get another ETA. I'll post right away as soon as I can get them.

Still no body colored fuel rail covers from GM yet.

I am happy to say that the front end covers without the license plate opening are now available in limited quantities. I am also happy to say that the 2008 C6 service manuals are available.

FOB’s do work from ’05-’07 vehicles, slot in the glove box works.

Note: The 08 key blank is not as wide as the 07 key blank. With that said, the 08 key will not work in your 07 if your key code (cuts) contains any cuts with a #1 in the code. We don’t provide or retrieve key codes for customers who are not local to us. If you are unsure if your key has a #1 in the code please contact your dealer. On a visual note, you can tell if the key has a #1 cut in it if any of the cuts are as wide as the shaft of the key. Those are #1 cuts.

‘08 keys work in ‘07 locks, just need the new key traced. ’05 & ’06 customers will need to purchase a new lock set to use the new key. You can purchase a lock set for the rear compartment and glove box, with new keys for the locks. Use the following part numbers below for those kits.

I see that some prices have gone up since Feb, for example the Z51 brake pads. Is this something that fluctuates from month to month like the price of gas? Or is this a regular price increase with no hope of prices going down in the future?

To answer your question, prices really never go down, sorry. GM normally increases the prices from 2-3 times per year. It all depends on the items category, mechanical, collission, accessory, etc.

As an FYI, when you see the price go up, it's because my price from GM has gone up, not just because "I need a few extra bucks."

A lot of times though, some items will go several months without any price increase.

Sometimes I am dense. I'm not sure what you mean, but I've really had my nose to the grind on getting caught up.

Honestly, it is really how I typed it.

Each and every individual one of those dips in the key is a cut. If any of those cuts, or should I say lack of cuts, is the same as the width of the shaft of the key, you have a #1 cut. To make it more clear, a #1 cut isn't really cut.

This is a sour subject for me. Yes, the price is still 1299 delivered. I've ordered close to $40,000 in exhaust only to have about 2 or 3 sets to sell out of those.

The manufacturer ships them to GM with no packing material. The GM warehouse ships them to me via FedEx with no packing material, and often my FedEx driver is dragging them by the tips through the door and/or he slams them down on the concrete on the tip.

I am currently working from a list.

Gene thanks for the reply i remember this being a problem with scratches on the tips from way back
when you first started with them, any chance to deal directly w/ the manufacturer to you, thereby eliminating GM from handling them(not for there cut though obviously) you might be able to make a contact with them and sort of suggest better packing, just a thought for ya.

Ordered a transparent roof from Gene on Thursday and went out of town for the weekend. Got home this afternoon (Monday) and the roof was waiting for me. Talk about quick service!! Thanks Gene.

The manufacturer to me thing, won't happen because GM will not allow. I have also contacted GM several times about the packaging. They have started sending one thin layer of wrap around the tips, which still is the same easily damaged.
