Will the cigarete lighter accessory work with the C6 Corvette Coupe ?
Yes......works on all C5 and C6 Vettes...

Got mine in and tried it for the first time. Read the instructions to find out answer to what follows and no luck.

Hooked up red clip to positive on my '07 C6 stock battery. Then tried to find a ground for the black clip. On the first try, when I plugged in the CTEK after connecting both clips in right order and setting the CTEK to the correct setting, the "full battery" light would light up green and the "half battery" light would blink yellow. This wasn't identified in the instructions so thought something was wrong. Unplugged the CTEK (per instructions) and disconnected black ground. Then connected black ground to the manifold (with the red clip still connected to the positive terminal on the battery). Plugged the CTEK into the outlet and set it again. This time, the yellow "half battery" icon lite up yellow and did not blink. The "full battery" icon was not lite at all.

So, what I concluded from all this is that on my first try, I did not have a good ground for the black cable and that is why I got the full green light and the blinking yellow light. Is this correct or did I f*** something up?

You are exactly correct....everything should be fine now.

You should be able to connect it up directly to the postitive and Neg terminals on the battery posts without issue.

Another cool option is the lighter plug, it connects to the CTEK and chargers the battery back through the lighter socket.

Thanks for the business,

Jim

The CTEK is one of the few battery chargers you can leave connected to your battery while it is connected to the car without risk of damaging your vehicles computer. You can leave it connected for months and months without worry of damaging your battery as it is constantly conditioning your battery instead of just keeping it charged.

We have sold hundreds of the CTEK brand chargers for the last few years and have been able to negotiate a great price for an awesome charger.

Check it out at the link below....in stock and ready to ship! Trust me, no other charger on the market even comes close to this one and our price is hard to beat. Lots more information and informative video at the link below.

Do you have to select the mode each time it is plugged in?

We have frequent power outages where I live. I need a trickle type charger that does not require a manual reset every time the power goes out and comes back on. Will this charger meet this need?
