Considering the "other" intakes may give you 15-17 hp they cost twice as much as this one. Hmm don't the cost for the others is worth a whole 3 horsepower. Think I may go with this one. Just my opinion.

Truth is you never really know what is behind the Dyno numbers.
I've seen some pretty weird stuff done to increase numbers.
Further, the difference is so small that it falls into the accepted
rate of error on any modern dyno.
ok, I have a magnaflow exhaust. what are the benefits of going with this intake compared to the stock. I havev a 2012 c6. I would like to.hear from the people that have installed it in their car. I don't race my car and its my daily driver. also the pros and cons of oil and.non oil. thanks in advance.

Basically, the car will breathe better. You will notice better throttle
"tip-in" (throttle response) and freer revs, plus a few extra ponies.
Oiled vs non oiled is just personal preference. When you clean the oiled
filter, you need to mist it with oil before re-installing it. The Synthamax
does not need to be oiled after it is cleaned. The oiled filter flows about
5% freer, but it is nothing you would ever notice...
Sure some others will jump in, we've sold a TON of the Airaid intakes to CF Members.
before I place my order I have one question: I've read where the oil used on "oiled" air filters can actually collect on the thin MAF sensor causing reduced engine performmance. Any truth to this? Thanks in advance.
