Tall Driver/ Extra Head Room Option Now Available!
Yes that's right! TPS & Corbeau now has an option to allow you to receive an extra "1" of headroom! Which is great for taller drivers!
So here's the other great news... it only costs $40 per seat!
So how do we accomplish this? We shave 1" off the base of the seat So who needs some seats?

Awesome and thanks for the quick reply! If the brackets have provisions for the 5 pt harness (as in where the harness bolts to) Ill buy a seat and bracket right now! Just to elaborate I am looking for the crotch strap bolt down and the 2 sides of the harness to bolt to the bracket. I have the shoulder straps taken care of by my harness bar.
Thanks again for the response!

I can vouch for the fx1 pro. It is a great racing seat. If I remember correctly it only ways about 15 pounds without the bracket. It is fixed back but it is very comfortable. I even used them in a daily driver and was very happy with them.

TPSMak,
This is something I am currently researching for my 2005 C6. Is there a web site or information available that will sumarize options and prices?
My car is primarily street driven with an occasional low speed autocross. Because I have competition belts, I am interested in seats with the belt cutouts. I would be interested in two-tone, but prefer leather and can settle for black. I need to have my seat all the way back and reclined some to be comfortable. I can't afford to give up any head room. I need to know any issues that are raised by seat replacement, including error codes, interference, etc. If i understood an earlier post, the seats have to be installed on the opposite side from normal - if this is done are the seat recliners usable?

TPSMak,
When you say you shave the bottom, you mean you shave the padding in the base of the seat? If so is it possible to have that bottom padding made removable so it could be removed for track day and then put back in for everyday use?
I am a fairly tall guy, stand 6'3". I have a 1999 FRC that just barely fits with helmet on with stock seat. Problem is that the stock seat lets me slide all over the place.
Another thing I was wondering about was the seat frame construction and mounting points. Are the seats steel/aluminum/carbon fiber construction? Can they be used with side mount rails/adapters?

Seats have steel frames and cannot be used with side mounts. Only seats that can be made to work with Side Mount is non-reclining.
Material available is cloth, microsude, and leather.

Melting Slicks
Yes they shave the base... the bottom cushion can be made to be removable but there will have to be some customization to make it work.

You will need brackets for every car and they are $100 each. Shipping depends where you are located.
