Peter, I'm getting ready to order a pair of these (one for my g/f's 2006 too!), but have another question:
Those shifter *****, the black ones don't get hot in the sun? It's very important here in AZ to not have stuff that will get too hot, especially if you have to touch it to drive!
Please let me know soonest so I can order several items at once.

you could store it in the center console with our insulator though

Ok, just checked my order and estimated shipping. Seriously? $25 shipping for 2 insulators, 2 visor stickers and one shifter ball?
Can you get a better shipping cost than that? Should be half that or less I think. The items are so light, and not bulky. Can't imagine why shipping would be so high.

I have to say, these things WORK!! My console is much, MUCH cooler now inside and I can actually store stuff in there!
My work ID, my Altoids, my other cell, etc.

i just want to say that i put this in my wifes 05 this weekend and she was pleasantly surprised at how much cooler it was in that area
i even have the good elite engineering tunnel brace installed too, and this certainly helped some more
to me... well worth it
