I have never been in a car with a GM screen.

We have had great feedback on this unit,

Still waiting on one for the coupe.
Contrary to some folks opinion, I think it makes a difference, and at least will stop anything from flying around in the back.
Seems having the top off, I find there is always something in the back that blows around, regardless of how well I clean it.

He can't really tell the difference..BUT.. he like the idea of not having to re and re everytime he puts the top up...Ed

My Orange Restrictor

Put this on last year and love it. The orange compliments the DSOM of the car and I installed the brake/dimmer switch so I can control the brightness. People always ask whether its OEM or not where I got it. Chip is great to deal with.
