Hot tip WRT center-mounted front license plates
I have a center-mounted front license plate and made the mistake of mounting the sensor to the right of it, as viewed from the driver's seat. Here in LA-LA land, that makes the curb alarm almost useless.
Why? Because hereabouts the parking lot tombstones are almost always installed in the left half of each parking space and are almost always not nearly as wide as the space. The result is that the sensor usually doesn't see the little devils .
The solution is simple--just mount the sensor to the LEFT of the license plate. The sound you heard was the dope-slap I just gave myself.

Money Well Spent
This is the best mod I installed on my Z06 ! If you think about the damage you can do and the cost of the repairs for just bumping a curb, than avoiding it by installing this CurbAlert system is worth the money. It is also easy to install if you have any mechanical ability.
There are some videos on line to help if you have trouble, but believe me it is simple. Also Neil at Corvettemods is very helpful if you run into any issues with installing any of his products.
