Its a second set of heads I have, the other set is on the car in the back ground. Both sets have been on that car but swapped them out when I had to change out the lifters. Both sets are the same heads.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the 6 bolt setup only works on the warhawk block..

The heads will bolt onto any LS-series engine, but they are 12 degree heads and would need a 12 degree intake like the LS7. To use all 6-bolts yes you will need to use any of the 6-bolt engine blocks like the Warhawk block.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

what I was saying is they will bolt to any ls block using 4 bolt, but will only work on the warhawk for 6 bolt setup.. The warhawk block has a different 6 bolt pattern then all the other 6 bolt blocks available..

I was thinking that was wrong so I spent 15 min on the phone with RHS to talk to them if they would bolt to their 6-bolt block and after they found the chart, they tell me it will bolt to all the blocks that have 6-bolt pattern. Lets be honest if I was going to spend even $500 I would take the 15 min can check for myself.

I've got a RHS block with a set of 305cc 6 bolt etp heads.. I've got a buddy who needs some heads to go on a lsx block is the only reason I asked..

Yes, the lsx, RHS, and dart have the "GM" 6 bolt pattern.. the world products warhawk block has a different 6 bolt pattern, because they were the first ones to make a 6 bolt setup.. the warhawk ls7x heads have the same bolt pattern as the block and the "6" bolt holes won't work on any other block.. I don't know who you talked to at RHS but they're wrong..

Well I called back to RHS at 877-776-4323 and spent another 10 min. I talked with Chris Masses. Not sure if I got the spelling of his last name correct. But after talking with 2 different people they got me to him. I expressed your concerns and he told me it’s been done without any modifications to the heads. He said they bolt right up to them, and he's seen it done.

Please call and conferm and if it turns out to be turn please delete your other post.

Thank you

I'm really not trying to be a dick about this.. Just stating what i know..
http://www.worldcastings.com/product...um-block-.html

World Products also recognized that in order for engine builders who employ power adders to maintain high combustion pressures with complete reliability it was essential to improve the sealing of the LS. With this in mind World’s engineering team added provisions for the optional use of two extra head studs per cylinder. They are designed to work in concert with the WARHAWK 12° LS7 cylinder heads, which also have the extra bolt holes. Please note that the cast iron GM LSX block and the World Products WARHAWK block do not have identical locations for the extra head bolts, however, standard 4-bolt GM LS heads will fit.

http://www.yellowbullet.com/forum/sh...3&postcount=58

and to prove your point. if modified they will work, but with only 5 bolts..

Well I'm eating crow tonight, lol. Well I can say for sure they fit the WarHawk, RHS, and one other aluminum block they said it fit. Maybe when I was talking to him I wasn't clear it was the iron GM LSX block.
