Hey I purchased a set of the old switch backs from another company which I had to buy resistors due to hyper flash and had a bad experience cause resistor got hot and touch my wiring harness and melted it....do u need resistors for these new bulbs?

you need to use resistors anytime you swap a halogen bulb with a LED bulb. With proper install, the resistors don't cause any issues. The resistors only get hot during blinker operation as well.

About to purchase but want some questions answered before.
Getting these switchback leds with resistors will eliminate all yellow from my DRLs?

Also if I purchase resistors can you guys put them together before shipping out so I can just remove and install mt DRLs without doing any other modifications?

Now if these make the DRLs white all times the only time yellow comes on is when the blinker is on?

Yes, the bulbs will eliminate that amber color for you.

The resistors have to be installed on your cars harness. Don't worry they just snap on!

You mentioned that these will be amber during normal driving without the headlights on... Is there a way to make them white during normal driving and flash amber only during blinker operation?

Thanks!

I solved it on after playing with it for a while.

the quick-connect tabs were not cutting through to the wires. I removed them trimmed the wire back a bit and reinstalled everything. Now its working fine.

Could it be wired up so that the bulbs thought the headlights where on all the time. That would make the lights white then switch to amber like nite time.

You would have to bypass your stock wiring

In the instructions it states to mount them to the two outside wires of the harness.

I understood that part, but I don't know where to physically place the resistors so they get adequate cooling and don't melt anything.
