I know this has been answered but i wanted to make sure since it's been a while and maybe the product changed a bit.

Does the mounting bracket use any existing holes in the chin spoiler? I tried to feel for holes in my spoiler but i didn't feel any unless they're really really small. I don't feel like doing any drilling nor do i want to have to jack the car up to do the drilling.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

On the Wide Body C6s (GS, Z-06 or ZR-1), there are several screws holding the chin spoiler on. With a 7mm socket, or nut driver and remove the center, and one on each side. The bracket is fitted between the spoiler, and the screws are replaced. No modifications required! Completely removable, and goes on in minutes.

Would this mount work if I wanted the plate off to the side of the bumper (instead of centered)?

Sorry, this bracket was made to mount in the center. It conforms to the 15 degree angle (point) of the nose.

Thanks! I can't wait to get it.

Today i felt for the holes and the bolts i have to remove are there. Seems like a pretty easy install. Although i might have to drive up on some wooden ramp step ups so i can access the bolts with my ratchet. The car is sooo low! lol

Actually, a 2 inch extension on a 1/4' ratchet, or a 7mm nut driver will fit under the spoiler. I've installed them on ZR-1s in a parking lot.

I just received my license plate bracket today. The quality looks amazing, I'm very happy.

I received a personal letter from Gary Burgess (G&G Designs). Is there a website for G&G Designs? I can't seem to find one anywhere. I have a few friend's with Z06 also and can't find a link (besides this thread) to send them.

Thanks again!

I have over 20,000 miles on the bracket. Up here in CT, it takes a beating. There's just so much debris all over the roads here. It's been holding up fairly well, but, it to needs a re-spray. Most all the black paint is blasted off.

Of course, the best part is, I'm not going to get pulled over for not having a front plate displayed. They've started cracking down around here for this infraction.

I'm glad you are happy with your bracket. I sell them only through thedoubeaa.com, unless you are in the same Corvette Club as I am. If you move to San Antonio, I'd be able to give you a slight discount. Hint: It's a lot warmer!
Thanks,
Gary

SMH,
I have found that the best paint for these brackets is Rustoleum Hammered Finish Black. It goes on heaver, and lasts better than any other paint I have tried. You can find it at most big box home stores. Just make sure you "Scuff" up the bracket with 320 grit sandpaper before yo spray it.

Have you thought about engraving a website/phone number/company name/etc on the bracket itself? I was just thinking that if I ever misplaced your information, I would know where to order a new one from.
