Here's your best bet. I've used their right angle cable extension in my car for a few months now and it works perfectly. I ran my HPT interface in the cabin, behind the a/c and radio and have the interface box tucked in the glovebox. I put velcro on the back of the cable so I can plug/unplug it anytime I tuning without the worry of a constant drain on the battery. I didn't want to have the HPT stuff with cables all around so this was a good solution. I have a longer USB cable that is wrapped up and has a 10 ft length. I can tune from outside the car without worrying about a short cable.
In fact, when I dyno tuned the car, I had enough length to stand about 3 feet from the dyno to make my adjustments w/o having to be cramped inside the car.
