I have a billet grill with horizontal strips. If I had kept it, I was going to spray paint it black. It just attaches to the existing piece with nylon zip ties.

It looks just like this one.

Hmm, well my car is a Z06, but the link I sent said it will not fit a Z06. Mine is the Z06 version of that, I'm positive because it was on the car when I bought it.

I'm going to go for the blacked out look so I took it off. Like I said, it should take black paint nicely if wanted.

The Z06 Version has more cross bars on it than 6 , 6 bars is for a base coupe , I had the base coupe version on my Base coupe but now I have converted to Z06 the wider grill is necessary to fill the space . Lets see an actual picture of what you have ,if it is truly Z06 I may consider it ,Thanks for your reply .. 3whit@comcast.net

Check number of cross bars ,if it is 6 then it is for a Base Coupe front , More than 6 (8) then it is for Z06, lets see a picture of your actual grill ,may consider.. 3whit@comcast.net

I have this setup for sale from a C6Z06.



It would include both the lower grill and the smaller upper nose grill. These are obviously the 4 chamber front and the 3 chamber nose. Retail I think was around $350 I believe. I'd sell for $250, they are like new. To order them new in Tuxedo black would be $425. I'm sure you could powder-coat these yourself for very little.

If you were interested in these, I'd consider taking them out. They are not black though, so it's up to you. Otherwise I will likely do the same thing and have these powder-coated black.
