Default FS: 2008 nav unit with discs

Finally removed my nav unit. Was attached to my bose unit. Works perfect without any issues. Discs are GM 6.0 I think and 1 latest east version which was copied. I'll send them all.

450 shipped + PayPal fees unless gift payment.

Pm me for pictures. I can email them to you.

No it does not but you can get one and since the unit is out already, easy to hook up. I have seen others with ipod hookup!

I have a 2011 GS that I bought new without NAV. I had asked the dealership if I could buy a NAV system and have it put in and they told me I couldn't. Would you know if I could simply install a NAV and expect it to work properly or do vettes need to have the NAV installed at the factory to have the proper software / hardware for a NAV?

As long as you have the Bose radio, installing a factory Nav is plug-and play. You need the head unit and a GPS antenna (and, of course, the nav disks). If you do not already have an On*Star microphone you will need one of those also if you want to use the voice recognition feature (I just skipped it). You might make sure to get a head unit out of a car the same year as yours (or newer) to ensure all steering wheel functions work.

I replaced the 6-disk changer head unit on my 2007 with a 2008 Nav head I purchased on CF with no issues. You will need a Tech 2 tool to "marry" the head unit to the car (part of the anti-theft system), but otherwise, no problems ... (my mechanic did not charge me ... some people have reported dealers want $25-100 to do this 1-minute procedure).
