Im about 99% positive the diff case for a c5 will not bolt to a c6 rear cross member.

due to having a 2005 which I just supercharged I'm interested in the diff...but 1500 is way out of my range. I'll have to do some more research on using the c5 diff with the c6.

Basically you have to take the rear suspension cradle out or the car to a good welder and they will have to weld a mounting point on the cradle for the C5 diff to work.

Good luck with the sale! If I had the cash I would be all over it!

Diff is a 30 spline mean Trans main shaft is 30 which is stronger then stock 27 spline

2005 has a 27 spline. Changing to 30 spline is an upgrade but not cheap. Stanger383 (Norm) can help with the adaptor for a C5 diff in a C6 cradle.
