Default MGW Shifter for trade plus cash

I would like to trade my mgw shifter for a stock shifter plus 170 cash. Non negotiable and you must send me your stock shifter first as I drive my car pretty much daily. I've had the shifter for almost a year and it's in perfect condition with no issues or rattles. Give me a call if interested 347-414-4895 Sal.

Why are you looking to go back to a stock shifter?

are you paying $170.00 or are you asking for $170.00 plus my shifter for your MGW shifter, just want to be clear, I have a brand new never used stock shifter for my 2005 C6, back when I changed to the MGW in order to get a new shifter box you had to buy the shifter and box mount from Chevy as a one piece unit.

I was told that you can trade in your old generation MGW stick for a new generation, and get a $100.00 credit. A new one costs $235.00. Nothing was said about the stock stick......

No, I am truly sorry for misleading!

Engaged keyboard before brain.

Its for the older MGW and not the stock shifter.

Apology to OP as well.

Do the MGW shifter box and you'll never want to go back to the stock shifter....

I just placed my order for the newest shifter and box. Was the box install difficult to replace? Thank You in advance.

Not bad at all...the hardest part is disconnecting all the plugs in the console for removal.

I have been on the fence for about a year for the MGW shifter. I have made up my mind to go ahead and order one but every time I open the parts section, someone is selling there MGW shifter and going back to the stock shifter.
Why are so many members taking the MGW back out of there cars? I thought this shifter is the greatest thing going. If you know how to shift the stock shifter ( 08 ) its not bad.
Thanks

I would venture to say anyone thats gone back to stock from an MGW is selling their car, doesnt drive their car or needs money/ Thats with the OP being the exception....

I think it's a US car thing....people become so accustomed to the rubbery numb feel of most domestic car shifters they can't handle anything crisp and precise. Drive any German or Italian car and you know what I mean....

Without the MGW box the shifter seems just a little off....but with the box worth every penny
