So they are sold now? I thought we had a deal??? I was waiting for your reply yesterday after you said I was the first person to reply and you were going to get the shipping quote. I thought we had everything worked out?

They sold in an hour to someone who paid the asking price including shipping.

How is that possible when you and I were exchanging PMs that day and the next? You created this post at (01-27-2014, 03:51 PM) and the last PM I got from you, listed below, is from (01-28-2014, 07:21 AM)

If they sold in an hour then the proper thing would have been to let me know that you sold them to someone else instead of keep me hanging on thinking we had a deal and you were getting me a shipping price. IF they sold within an hour, why did you want my paypal address the next day after you posted this? I would never buy anything from your company if that is the type of service you provide.

I'll check shipping cost but I doubt I will pay it all. The tires will sell for sure - I have several PM's already. Yours is first.

Ok, let me know the shipping cost and we can split it if that helps.
That helps for sure.

Will do that today and get back to you.

What is your paypal address?

I am sorry you missed out on the deal. And I did report the timing incorrectly.

I will however not post PRIVATE MESSAGES on the forum and I don't think you should either.

I could not get shipping cost information quickly as I was out of the warehouse that day.

While this 'negotiation' was going on a full price offer was made and I accepted it. He wanted the tires, realized it was a good deal and paid the asking price. You were asking me to pay and I don't think I had to and I was correct.

You do not get dibs if you make a less than asking price offer. Sorry.

KNS,

Looks like you accepted the deal, he did not miss the deal, it is apparent you were ok with splitting the shipping when you said:

"That helps for sure.

What is your paypal address?"

You should be at least held to the minimum of giving him the price quote you promised and give him first right of refusal. Your word matters to us a customers, and we choose to do business with those who's word matters to themselves. You being a Forum Vendor and Sponsor should hold yourself to a higher standard and make this right with him.

I posted the PM to show that you were incorrect about the timing of the deal. I'm not saying you are lying but what you stated was incorrect and I wanted to set the record straight.

I did accept the full $500 asking price and asked you to split shipping costs which you agreed to do and then I never heard from you again. I was surprised that you, as a forum vendor, took another offer from someone else after we had a deal just to make a few extra bucks. It just shows me that I would never want to do business with you and I hope you realize that what you did was wrong.

I'm done with this thread, I'll continue searching for another deal on tires from someone that, hopefully, will keep their word.

We should set the record straight.

You offered $500 shipped If my $80 assumption for shipping was correct that is about a 15% off offer. That is not meeting my asking price.

My reply was that I would consider splitting shipping but I would have to check the cost. I also mentioned that I had several other PM's and I was sure the tires would sell at full price plus shipping and they did.
