Looking for D1S 6k HID bulbs
I have bought some from a vender here and twice I have gotten bad bulbs. These are a pain to change so I want to buy some that work.
Who has good ones?

As you have found out, the quality of no name Chinese HIDs varies from pretty good to terrible. I've had good luck with bulbs from JW Motoring.
The best (brightest ) HIDs sold in the US are the Sylvania SilverStars. The part no. for D1S is 32913. This is the same bulb as the famous Osram Xenarc 66144 CBI sold in Europe. These things put out 3400lm vs about 2800lm for OEM 4300k bulbs and around 2500lm or less for the no names. However, the color is 5000k not 6000k. They are available on Amazon, not cheap, about $180 for two, but you do get what you pay for.
Here's a couple of links with lots of info on HIDs
