Default What is it? Where does it go?

I just noticed what looks like a breather hose on the passenger side of my 08 automatic transmission. The end of the hose routes down and ends between the exhausts and is open to the air by the back of the auto trans. (Must be some type of drain or breather.

What I am trying to figure out is about 6 inches towards the front of the car there is a plastic 'T' in the hose that seems like it should be plugged into something. It was just laying against the exhaust and I wrapped it around some wires to keep it from getting melted.

Any one know where this 'T' should so? I will try to get a pic of it, but it's pretty crowded with the exhaust and such in that area.

Default Hose

HI,
No, I can see the NPP line and it is running from the right side of the car over to the left on top of the tranny. The NPP line appears to be steel and the hose that I am looking at is rubber. This rubber hose ends just above the exhaust system and is tied down with a clip. Looks like a drain/overflow for something.

It's bugging me.

A/C condensate drain? Sounds like about the right position.

In between the passenger front wheel and the firewall. Usually drips on the exhaust.

A/C drain hose!

I know what you mean. Mine is the same. Had the tranny out several times and never understood that breather tube T deal either.
At one point I used a clamp (the style that goes around a hose and bolts to something) to retain the hose from moving and have an extra nut to hold it in place on one of the mounting studs.

I'll check to see if I have a photo later today.
