3.5" Aluminum Driveshaft for 01-13 C5, C6, & Z06 Models

Hinson Motorsports has partnered with Precision Shaft Technologies again to bring you another fantastic product for your Corvette. This all aluminum 3.5" driveshaft is a direct fit application for all 2001-2013 Corvettes. With a 1000HP rating it makes a great addition to high horsepower car. For additional strength don't forget to add our billet aluminum couplers to each end.

How was it rated to 1000hp? What is their testing process that designates the rating?

We torque tested this drive shaft to 1200ft/lbs and it didn't fail.

what is the weight. are they lighter than the C6 Z06 which are 3 1/2 in" all so.

Sorry for the late reply I just saw it. I do not know the exact weight as I have never just weighed one out right. What I can tell you from moving them around and installing them compared to the stock shaft there really is not much difference. If your making the kind of power that this shaft is designed to support the possible few extra pounds wont even be noticed. What will be noticed is the strength when you hammer on it and it stays together. Thank you for the interest in our products and I hope this helped some.
