Default Source(s) for Black Zink Z51 Rotors?

Looking to replace my C6 Z51 rotors. I'd like rotors that are black zinc coated. There used to be a ton on eBay, but can't seem to track them anymore. Anyone have suggestions for sourcing?

Thanks in Advance

I'd be interested as well. ...does the coating effect braking abilities at all?

It shouldn't affect braking at all. The zinc coating will quickly be worn off the swept surface of the rotor. The zinc is there to protect the surfaces that aren't contacted by the brake pad.

The drill holes and hats will resist rusting much longer.

I saw some on ebay where they zinc coated the blanks, then drilled and slotted them afterward - totally defeating the purpose of coating.

Hey guys on another note, I also have z51 brake set up. Anyone know what's the smallest wheels you can run with these? I've got z06 wheels(18/19) and they fit fine, but looking for a set of welds for my drag set up. I am looking at 18's in the front, but can I get away with 17's in the rear? Thx guys

can't tell you about black zink, not familiar w that.

BUT, fwiw,
I can tell what I did in spring this year:
- bought new oem z51 rotors from amazon,
- had them (silver) zink coated by four d plating in santa clara, they recently moved there from Sunnyvale, I dealt w Matt, (I choose them based on the recommendation of another forum member), very pleased w the service there!
- installed all w new oem ceramic pads,

as you know there wasn't much rain since, (its pretty much my dd) so while i'm happy right now I can't speak yet about the long term corrosion result which was obviously my goal.

one thing though, the first bunch of miles were quite "interesting" until the coating wore off at the pad area of the rotors

.
