Default Apsis: Do you like Carbon Key Fob???

Hi All,

Many customers have asked us to make the C6 Carbon Key Fob in the past years and we just never take action. Recently we do develop this item for C7 and seems many customers do like it.

So we are thinking if C6 owners like this unique item too then we will develop it available for C6.

We will develop two overlay carbon shells and you will just glue it together. If you want to send in your own key fob for production it will even look nicer.

We would like to see how strong the response is and then make final decision if we will invest mold to make the overlay parts.

Even if we don't go for mold making for overlay parts, you can still send in your fob for production any time. We have done some before for our customers so here are some pictures for your reference.

The reason we intend to develop overlay application is when we are at Corvette shows then any customer can just pick & go.

Haven't decided the final price yet. Will make final decision soon.

UPDATE ON 11/24/14

PRICE: $138 FOR HIGH GLOSS, $148 FOR MATTE FINISH

Let us know if you like it.

Here are some pictures.

Just for your reference. We just finish it for C7. Here are couple pictures for C7 too. If you have C7 friends you can spread the words to them. We will be very appreciated.

If it's glued how do you change the battery?

I was thinking the same thing. Also, would you make them for the later year C6 fobs as well? I'd be very interested, but price would be a huge determining factor.

Our parts are two half shells. Even after you glue them together you will still be able to separate the fob the way it is. No difference. That is why we will make it two half shells.

Default Carbon Key Fob for Late Model 2012-13

Hi All,

We just finish the C7 Carbon Key Fob w/Top Cap and take some pictures. Like to share with members.

Since the late model 2012 - 2013 has same shape key Fob as C7 so we decide to post here too. This kit will fit for your 2012-13 Key Fob.

The Top Cap is extremely difficult to make because it's very delicate and tiny. Most of customers don't know the smaller the parts the harder to make. Sometime customers may think small part is not as valuable as large part and don't understand the difficulties to make small parts. Well unfortunately from manufactuer's view point it's just opposite. We understand some customers may think it's pricey for such small item. Sorry you may feel that way.

Anyway, we think it looks nicer to have the Top Cap. But we still offer two options. One is with Top Cap and one is without.

Shown in the pictures is high gloss. Of course if you want the matte finish, no problem we can make it for you.

If you don't like to have the overlay, then you can send in your own key fob for production. It will look similar to the pictures shown.

Now we start to accept back orders. If you confirm the order then we will hold the allocation from the first batch of production for you.

Here are the pictures.
