I have a 2001 Z06 all stock suspension with 86xxx miles that I use as a weekend "spirited" driver. I don't drag race and really just like tearing up the back roads with an autocross event once a year or so.. I don't want rock hard, just firm. Recommendations? C6Z shocks and C6Z sway bars or Z51 bars? I've heard the 51's do almost as good as a job? Also, I will be doing a widebody conversion in a year or so, will the extra meat in the back make a difference in choice?
Thanks,
Nate

Z51 C6 with 345's
i have a 2005 C6 Z51 with 345's in the rear and 285's in the front (wide body from you!), Z51 shocks and Bars: what would you recommend? Z06 shocks and a Z06 rear bar?

Since you have the larger tires in the rear you can use either or, our recommendation would be the z06 since you have the tire setup for it. The z06 bars are available here http://www.cultragfactoryparts.com/c...s/?parent=1001
from your posts above
Suspension Front (mm) Rear(mm)
C6Z51 31.0 25.4
C6Z06 31.0 28.0
I have a Z51 and the kit you suggested has both front and back bars. Do I need both when the Z51 and Z06 have 31 mm bars? and do you have just the rear bar?
Thanks

Z06 shocks for base 2005 C6
Are the Z06 shocks a suitable replacement for a base 2005 C6 with Z51 option? I have a leaky shock at 55k, and have been experiencing wheel hop as well. Hoping this would be a solution for both issues, but figure a replacement is necessary either way due to the leaky shock.
Any issues with fitment, special parts required, or issues with installation?
