Default WTB: NPP exhaust for an 05.

Thinking about selling my Corsa Xtreme mufflers, but first I need to find a NPP exhaust. After doing catless long tube headers, Cam, and so on its just a little too loud for me, unless im out playing. I love it most of the time, but I randomly drive late night/early morning, and dont want to **** off the neighbors. So anyway, who has a NPP exhaust for sale that will fit my 05? Manual if it matters.

NPP ONLY, NOT Z06.

Im near St Louis.

I've got a set of npp axle back mufflers off an 08 ZO6, I was hoping to swap them on my 6060 swapped C5. I'm in St Joseph and if they'd work we could make a deal. Full 3" npp great shape with actuators.

Im pretty sure NPP and Bi-mode Z06's are different. Id rather find NPP since they are a direct fit. The Z06s are 3inch, and my system is only 2.5.

NPP was not offered in 2005 and it was Z06 only until 2008.

Also, after 2008 Z06 and non-Z06 NPP parts were different.

It would take more than just bolting on the hardware to put a dual-mode exhaust on a 2005.

Not impossible but likely expensive and time consuming.

Z06 has bi-mode exhaust and is 3 inch. NPP is 2.5. They are different mufflers and I prefer the sound of the NPP, if I got z06 mufflers I'd have to do the muffler mod to them to get them to sound good, on top of changing them to 2.5. So unles the Z06 ones are stupid cheap, they aren't worth my time.

No matter what system I do, I know I'm going to have to run vacuum lines and so on.

I'll buy Z06 ones if I have too, but I'd rather wait for NPPs.

08 NPP is a direct fit for your car. You will just have to run a vacuum line and/or NPP-in-a-box. Idk what that guy is talking about.

Z06 bi-mode mufflers give you tune-ability with the vacuum actuators. quite with them closed and a fraeging beast with them open..If you dont have a 3" x pipe you will need 2 1/2" over axle piping from a stock mufflers and have them welded to the back of the zo6 mufflers..any competent muffler shop can do this..pretty simple..

i have '07 Z06 bi mode mufflers with <10K miles for sale. lmk if interested..i help out with shipping

You're going to have to be very patient. NPP exhausts compatible with 2005-08 are preciously few. You will have a bunch of well-meaning Z06 owners offering their bi-mode setup, but as you correctly pointed out, the pipe diameter is different and welding will be involved.

Be patient. I waited a long time but finally ended up with a 2008 NPP for my 2008 coupe. And I couldn't be happier.

NPP is also adjustable with vacuum, and it is 2.5, and no modifications required, other than adding Vacuum lines. Z06 Bi-Mode is 3inch.

Unless a set of Z06 pops up very cheap, ill wait.

The 09 and newer will also work if you use the midpipe.
