Other than the nav antenna and dealer programming, any idea what is required to install in a non-nav car
Edit: I should add my car is an 09, 3lt, Bose, xm equipped.

From what I've been able to find that's pretty much it
I did the same on my Escalade of similar vintage (stock non-nav to stock nav system) and I just added a GPS antenna, had someone reset the VIN that was programmed into it and just plugged it all in. Worked perfect.

It's plug and play
The only thing that you might have to do is some models do not have the vehicle speed sensor wire (VSS) in the radio harness .
The Navigation will not work without this wire , ask me how I know
Not sure what models do not have the VSS wire but my 2011 non Bose did not have it.
Ray Kawel sells this wire and the instructions on how to install .you have to pull the gauge cluster but it is real easy
Just Google Ray's name and it will take you to his website. He is a great guy to deal with and will answer any questions you might have
PM me if u have questions

Plug and play? Is the disc still working and not skipping when it gets hot?
My older z06 used to start skipping and freezing on mp3 track when it used to get hot. I had to change it later on.

Burning Brakes
If this radio has been installed in another car you will have to disable theft lock with a tech 2 or visiting a dealer. Not quite plug and play FYI

I've never, ever heard that nor experienced with any other GM vehicle, and I have installed a factory navigation system into newer model GM vehicles. Yes, they are married to a particular vehicle and will not work without that being reset.. but shutting the car down for 38 hours? I don't think so. It didn't happen on mine, that is for sure
