didnt answer the question... I would also like to know if the core is fiberglass (as is the case with 99% of hoods) or carbon fiber.

The wet carbon hoods are not 100% carbon fiber. Carbon cloth cannot hold shape on it's own. That's why it all depends on which one of the many ways the parts are manufactured. Our wet carbon hoods are vacuum infused process which has a fiberglass skeleton. The carbon fiber fabric is then infused around it with resin.
If they wants something closer to 100% carbon fiber then need to order a dry carbon hood.

How is fit and finish? Is the carbon nice enough to leave some sections bare and clear coated while other areas are painted?
How are gaps and finish?
Any pics of the actual brand and style of hood offered for sale mounted on a car?
Are hood pins necessary?
What is backlog on shipping if any?
How can a heat resistant hood liner be used without blocking the vents? What are the options?
