Default HP Scanner DTC "Once Per Trip Test" Help

I have a 2007 C6 A6 that I installed Kooks Headers with Hi Flo Cats a few months ago. After a week, I got the P0420 and PO430 error codes with a CEL. I set error mode to on those settings to 3-"no error reporting". but kept check mark box for enabled SES for smog police testing. Even unchecking that does not help me as shown below.

Anyways, when I run my HP Tuner VCM Scanner with my 2007 C6 A6 Corvette, in the "DTC's and Test" Display it always reads the folllowing under "DTC's and Readiness States":

No DTC's Detected

Continuous Tests
Misfire: Complete
Fuel System: Complete
Comprehensive Component: Complete

Once Per Trip Tests
Catalyst: Complete
Heated Catalyst: n/a
Evaporative System: Incomplete
Secondary Air System: n/a
A/C System Refrigerant: n/a
Oxygen Sensor: Incomplete
Oxygen Sensor Heater: Incomplete
EGR System: n/a

The "incomplete" is highlighted in the display in red color. Short of removing my headers, how does one get rid of the "incompletes" as I think this could be troublesome for me come smog police inspection time. I am also unclear on the relationship between "once per trip tests" and DTC error code settings.

Its an issue with the oem PCM. If you program the PCM it erases the readiness checks. So too, if you clear DTC's it clears the readiness checks too. EFI Live has the same deal as HP Tuner for clearing DTC's and removing error reporting. nuff said.

I found out at least part, if not all, of my problem is that every time I was using my HP Tuner/Laptop in my car I was always programming the PCM! So it was always erasing the readiness checks! So I just got to drive the car normally for a few days and then run the VCM scanner DTC display only. Nor can you reset DTC's if they occur or you will reset the readiness tests as well. It should read fine then even with my current tune. I'll post back the result whenever.

I know this is an old post, but I'm having the same trouble. How can I get the EVAP, O2 and O2 Heater tests to complete?

EVAP can be a real bitch because it requires an extremely specific drive cycle, plus really big cams that generate crap for vacuum can have trouble getting the routine to run as well.

Oxygen sensors require your tests to be enabled.

For the 02's, just drive your car for a few days and they will go away. The Evap can take a few hundred miles to go away. Naturally, DO NOT read or write (or even load it) with HP Tuner during this time. Only use the VCM Scanner to check on it until they go away.

btw-most smog testing states allow ONE DTC to fail and will still pass you.

I opened your file on HP Tuners (turboffr), and your post O2 is enabled. I think you just need to hit the drive cycle. Nothing in your file should prevent the readiness checks from completing.

I'm on the latest beta, but I also have the fully unrestricted view. I think when you install HP Tuners, it asks how much access you want to files.
