I don't recall ever hearing from you about any issue, what happened?
Which device did you have and what vehicle?
Never, not once, have I seen or heard of any of our tools causing any trans issues, so I would like to investigate.

Thanks

2006 vette, automatic

THE item is Diablo Sport.
And its part # U7194
And issue with my car was,, at low speed ( out of first) and stomp on it , and it go's into lower gear,, the car will rev soooooo high that when it try's to shift up, it SLIDE OUT OF GEAR way to slow..., its so slow that i actually have to let off gas.. As its that bad, and i wasnt about to smoke my automatic .

The predator never had TCM support so I am not sure how that would happen. Was the tool up to date on 9r30 or newer? We've had hundreds of U7194 users here with no similar reports at all.

Thanks

Hmm, between posts #13 and #14 in that thread, you mentioned adding a CAI after you had initially said the tune felt great....

Adding a CAI can cause the MAF curve to be way out of whack, which directly affects load, which affects shifting in the T43 TCM quite a bit. I would be confident saying it would be fine if you went back to the stock intake or had a custom tune made for that CAI setup.

Thanks

But, i didnt state at that time , i HAD not jumped into it too hard after cann tune.. Only after air filter. Which isnt really a cai, its was just a better than stock air filter..( air raid )
You could be correct on the MAF, but im not convinced.
Anyway's chuck cow is ordered and with tuning avalability from chuck and AutoCal

If your trans is in good condition, you'll really like what we do.

I've included a little sumpthin' in the engine cal that should firm up the trans even before we tune the trans.

Get back to us here with your first impression when the ecm gets to you.

Stay (Chuck CoW) TUNED!

New Vette guy here, but
- what is a dyno and a tune?
- should I do it on my stock 02 C5 (auto)?
It has 113,xxx miles on it. Or do I wait until I get my new new exhaust system?
