Diablo inTune personal experience

I will be selling my diablo intune, it has been unlocked and is ready to use. Only used it once to tune a 2006 base c6 which was returned to stock so the tuner is ready for the next car. What is it worth and is anyone interested in it?

Something fishy her?
Why are you returning your 06 C6 back to stock, it seems that there is something fishy here? What went REALLY wrong, most everyone is happy with their tune except at times the tuner is not updated when they received it. Or there is a problem with unlocking and getting it updated. Sometimes the car comes from GM with refined tuning to get it to work properly which creates downloading problems for the purchaser who has to Email downloads back to Diablo. Please update us with the real facts, it sounds like you weren't happy with the intune. I would be hesitant to purchase because of your lack of information and candidicy.

Only issue I had was that before I could install the tcm diablo tune I had to have GM update the tcm with the latest updated files. When I had it done, the tech said there were actually 7 or 8 updates he uploaded. After having that done, I Installed the 91 octane ecm tune and the firm shift tcm tunes with no problem at all. As I am selling the car, I decided to return it to stock as this was the only modification I had made to it other than 2011 wheels and borla axel back exhaust, which I have kept the stock wheels and mufflers so the next owner can decide which thay would prefer. The car did have a smoother idle with the diablo tune and a somewhat firmer shift. I did not see a huge difference in performance but definately noticeable, especially after returning it to stock! So nothing FISHY! These are the REAL FACTS and nothing went wrong! Just felt a buyer would be more receptive to a bone stock, low mileage unmodified C6. I hope this answers your questions, oh, and I purchased it from Maryland speed for $389.00 about 6 months ago.

I have not. Working on which exhaust I want to go with. Frustrating decision! For some reason, you can't just buy a couple of mufflers and have them put on. Someone had the bright idea that it must be at LEAST an axle back system, like it's illegal to re-use your stock tips or anything! I'm sure it's because it has the name "Corvette" on the car. Guess these companies feel that since you can afford a vette you can afford to pay 3 times as much for exhaust as it would cost for ANY other American made sports car in existence! Gripes my **** really!

Is there any threads I can check on regards to how much HP/TQ members are gaining from this tune?? And custom tune?
I found the 1/4 miles results but I want to see numbers. I know there are relative to the car and dynos. I need to decide soon on a tune.

I found out that the local speed shop in town stocks the Diablo InTune tuner, though their flyer advertises it for Camaros, Mustangs, Chargers, etc.
Can I assume that the stock unit also includes support for all vehicles listed by Diablo, including Corvettes?

So in reading the Quick Start Guide for the InTune, I note step 3 under "How to tune your vehicle" says: "When prompted, turn key to "on" position without starting the engine."
Ok, so how does that work with a Corvette, since as soon as you hit the green start switch, the engine fires right up. How do you get the ignition "on" without starting it?

i use a 93 octane fuel, but i also put a fuel additive in my fuel, sea foam or techron periodically. will that cause a problem as far as setting the intune up?

OK, help me help you
What exactly is the issue?
If its a 2012 GS, its likely already sup[ported and ready to go, shouldn't need to update it before hand.
Thanks
