Default Dashcommand Experiences/Opinions?

I tried searching but couldn't really find much. Does anyone have any experiences or opinions on dashcommand?

If you have any specific questions, we can help you out as we are the developer of that application.

Can DashCommand be fully controlled via a touchscreen headunit? At 10:40 in
, some things worked while others did not, but perhaps the connectivity was not as suggested. Do some HUs work better than others? Does Wi-Fi work better than Bluetooth? Is a Windows Phone 8 version available? Does it work with DashLogic?

We can connect on the JVC, Pioneer, and Clarion head units that allow the app modes.

I hope it works on the Android head unit I just ordered.

...except for the Skid Pad, perhaps because the car's accelerometers are inaccessible via the OBD2 port?

Apparently not. I suppose handheld devices have accelerometers primarily to detect display rotation, which is obviously not a factor for a fixed display mounted in the dash, but inconvenient considering the Vette's accelerometers are inaccessible via OBD2. Bummer!

Hi, i have a avh-p4300 pioneer DVD radio in combination with an iPhone 4 via the usb connection connected and I don't get the dash command on the screen. Any particular setting I need to choose? I have an iPod mode where I can select app mode. Thank you!
