So I have a '05 Vette which is stock minus the axle back and just a few weeks ago i noticed my cruise control doesnt work anymore untill i hit around 90mph. Once i hit 90mph and set the CC it will say CC set to 25mph??? wtf? so i do a scan and check for codes and got nothing. Drove around while scanning and saw the vcm scanner speedo barely getting 3-4mph while i hit 40-50mph. keep in mind my dash speedo works perfectly. anyone ever encounter this kind of thing before? could it be a wheel speed sensor or something?

Try disconnecting the battery and then hook up again?

i know its old, but still have the issue. dash speedo works great while hp tuners says im going 25mph while im actually doing 90mph. CC will set while im going 90mph and the DIC will say CC set at 25mph.

found this thread at the bottom of this thread. I know its for a c5 but I noticed you say your car is stock but in another post you mention hp tuners. sounds like you may have a tuning issue similar to this one. good luck!

wow dude good find!!!! i just compared the tune thats in the car with the stock one and the vss output per mile is all jacked up compared to stock. so weird!!!

ill try it and see if it works next week or so thanks again!
