How to remove ECM (2013 Grand Sport)
Did some searching and most the pic's seems to be from prior years where the ECM is lower in the fender so thought would document this with pics and some finer details.
1. Remove negative from battery and place it somewhere it wont make contact with anything and/or insulate it so if it does bump up against something wont make contact.
2. Jack up car and place jack stands.
3. Remove the two plastic wheel well plastic pieces to gain best access as it is up high on newer models. 10mm and 7mm socket as well as push pin remover (screwdriver and pliers work too).
4. Without going "under" the car, look up high into the fender close to the outer body panel and you will see the ECM and it is attached to a bracket holding it to the car. If you go under the car and look up you will see the backside and electrical connectors which is not the side we will work from. Remove the single 10mm bolt shown in green just below the actual ACM which will allow us to remove the bracket holding the ECM.
5. Now crawl under the car and reach up to push the ECM as high as it can go and then angle it to get the bracket "clips" to come out of the 'hanger" openings. This takes a bit of wiggling, angling, and some extra effort to get both clips to come free. this picture shows the bracket angled with the clips still barely holding before I was able to wiggle it out.
6. Pull down the ECM/bracket to remove the electrical connections. Here is a better pic of the bracket clips you are trying to get to come out above for reference.
7. Remove the two 10mm bolts shown on the left side to release the ECM from the bracket.
8. Remove both electrical connectors. Pull down the red tab to unlock the connector (green circle). Push down the black plastic "button" to release the large black plastic handle (orange circle).
Pull down the large plastic handle which will disconnect the large electrical connector. Wiggle it a little more to get it come completely free.
9. Send ECM off to Chuck CoW to make it run better, shift A6 properly, and better throttle response

Dude! Great POST!

Here's how you remove the PCM from the 2009+ C6s. Dry sump cars are slightly different.
Send ECM off to Chuck CoW to make it run better, shift A6 properly, and better throttle response

The Auto Trans TCM from 2006-2013 is....
The Auto Trans TCM from 2006-2013 is....
In the transmission, in the fluid.....on the valve body.
Don't mess with it. Very tricky to change. And messy too.
That's why we use the AutoCal tuner to read and flash the trans thru the OBD2 port.
Here's a different view on the ECM...
Also, here's the TCM.
Engine computer looks like this..... 2006-2013 Vette
YES, we have a few engine computers for LS vehicles.

A properly done tune will make your car run properly.
I suggest our Chuck CoW TUNE / AutoCal / & CoW BOOSTER! package.
There is nothing else like it.
