Default Shortuning in Kentucky

Huge shout out to Jason at Shortuning in Stanford Kentucky. I made the 3 hour trip today to have my 08 tuned. Jason took all the time necessary to explain all that he was doing and what it was accomplishing.

Jason uses a dyno dinamics that reads somewhat lower than most dyno jets so I was more concerned about gains from baseline, not peak numbers. My baseline on a previous dyno jet was 385whp/376torque. The D/D baseline was 360/354 for comparison. After tune, I gained 20 peak hp and up to 30hp across much of the rpm range.

Only mods are Gm's performance exhaust (borla), vararam, and 160 stat.

I was surprised at how much of a difference it made from 60mph and up. The car pulls like mad.

Was grinning the entire drive home.

+2 for shortuning! Had a tbss with sts turbo and it was unbelievable the time and effort he put into getting it just right. I'll be visiting him as soon as headers, intake are installed.
