Default General Tune Question

Hello,
I'm getting ready to install an A&A supercharger kit on my '06 C6 this Friday. My question is, after installation, will the car be ok to drive over to the tuning shop which is 15 miles away? Or should I tow it over to the shop. May be a dumb question, but I would like to make sure being this is my first time with a forced induction application.

Thanks for the feedback...

You can't start drive it with the new injectors. So either get a base tune for the injectors, or you need to swap them at the place and drive over there with the stock ones in.

I agree, if you've changed the injectors it would be better to play it safe and pay for a tow or pay your tuner to come to your house and perform a baseline tune.

Larger installed injectors than what is tuned into your ECM will make the engine run EXTREMELY RICH----Rich won't hurt the engine---Just make it run like crap----A SC install calls for larger injectors so you will be safe in driving it to the shop----Just be prepared for some dying--hesitation and bogging !!!

Contact A&A for their advice. Otherwise have it flat bedded so you don't introduce a second condition when it is tuned and a problem surfaces. Should that happen you will know it was the install not something that happened on the drive over.
