I currently turn the DRL's off after starting, but would prefer they be turned off always. The selling dealer, CarMax, said this is easily accomplished by toggling something with an OBD II scanner but the he couldn't that for legal fears (thx, lawyers and judges once again).

Can someone please supply me the method to turn these things off assuming I can borrow an OBD II scanner? Thanks.

I know some are fans of these but I detest them so let's not fight about it, OK? Again, thanks.
