Default C6 Alky Control Methanol Injection Systems | JDP Motorsports

JDP Motorsports is proud to offer, use and install Alky Control Methanol Injections systems!

With the flood of Injection systems on the market today, A little research and you will notice that most if not all provide systems based on a 50/50 mix, This is due in part to the higher cost of internal as well as external parts needed to hold up to 100% "safely". A perfect example is type of hoses used.
When you purchase an Injection system from Alkycontrol your getting a product thats been tested time and time again by some of the fastest out there, be it cars, trucks, jet skis, airboats, and even a world record holding airplane. If it has a piston/rotor on boost, it will benefit from our injection system.

Alky Control - Methanol Injection System - 2005-2013 Corvette - AK-C6-Kit

The Alky Control Methanol Injection system for the C6 Corvette/Z06/ZR1 features a boost referenced, progressive meth controller which automatically releases increasing amounts of methanol as boost increases. This progression ensures smooth and even fuel delivery so that the transition or power remains smooth all the way up to redline. Alky Control Systems use only the best components. Braided Stainless Steel Lines, a High Volume Methanol specific pump, sealed electrical connectors and brass fittings.

Methanol is a highly effective addition for your force induced car for a number of reasons. First, Methanol injection is a highly efficient chemical intercooler. By injecting methanol into the inlet of a supercharged car, intake air temperatures (IATs) can be reduced by more than 80% (depending on ambient air temperatures) and allow your tuner to run more timing and therefore making more HP. Secondly, Methanol burns at the equivalent of 110 octane fuel, effectively halting detonation that can be present with lower octane fuels. Methanol works to keep your engine cleaner, and helps remove carbon deposits that can form on the pistons, which can effective change engine compression and combustion properties.

Features
  • PAC Progressive controller
  • Modified pump (for methanol)
  • Stainless braided hoses pre-assembled
  • Complete Harness w/everything needed
  • 2 Bar GM MAP sensor with regulator

I'm thinking about ordering one of these soon and was looking at them on your website the other day. I have one question: is the "IAT Sensor Upgrade" the same thing as MAF activation? I've been advised to go with the MAF activated version of this system, but I can't find anything on that. Thanks!

The IAT sensor relocation relocates the intake temperature sensor from the MAF to the intake manifold downstream from the methanol. With most Centrifugal S/C or turbo setups, the Methanol is injected after the MAF, so the temp sensor needs to be relocated for proper reading and tuning.

Most of the time, the IAT sensor is not needed on PD/Top mount superchargers.

Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions.

Thanks. I don't need the IAT relocation, as I have a Magnuson Heartbeat blower and that comes with the kit.
What I need to find out about is the "MAF activation" option that I've seen mentioned on these forums a number of times. I'm reliably informed that Alky Control offers that as an option, but I can't seem to find out anything about how to order it, even on their website.

We can order the kit either way, but we go off the MAP sensor. That way it's based off of boost rather than airflow.
