"S" Sport mode 1st gear re-program (A6)
When I'm in Sport Mode my transmission starts from a dead start in 2nd gear...unless I paddle down to 1st gear. Is there a program/advice etc that I could have the vehicle start off in 1st gear without paddeling through the gears?(or am I missing something)

This is stock programming---A C6 and even the C7 with a 6 speed will only downshift into 2nd gear--Mostly because 1st gear is so low geared----
YES this is tunable with HP or EFILIVE----I drove my C7 with stock trans tuning and the trans would get hot very quickly as the converter slips a lot when starting in 2nd gear
So I re-programmed the TCM to allow the trans to downshift into 1st gear--but only at 1 mph or less----That way when you do a rolling stop and the car is moving somewhat it can start off in 2nd gear and not drop down to the low low 1st gear---Love it that way--

Burning Brakes
Once the paddles are used, it will only downshift to 2nd when coming to a stop,
which has been stated above.
