Default Fuel pump duty cycle question

I was wondering if somebody could explain fuel pump duty cycle.

I noticed in HP Tuners that my duty cycle was limited to 90% on my 2006 LS2.
What is the time period of the duty cycle?
Is there any advantage to changing it to 95%?

Thanks,

My searches did not provide any insight to my questions.

Default

That does nothing on an LS2

On some cars, CTS-V's and ZR1's I believe, there is a separate fuel pump controller that can turn the fuel pump output up/down depending on boost, etc. Kind of like the radiator fan.. runs slow at lower temps and high at higher temps when it's needed

On most cars (including yours) the fuel pump is just on or off.. so messing with that won't do anything
