Default Tuner question

My new build:

LS2
Bored. Stroked. 6.8 liters
Mild blower cam
Bar link roller lifters
Ultra Gold Rockers
9.6 cr pistons
Stock heads
D1 ProCharger
Flip-Drive
Meziere EWP
1 7/8" Hedders
FAST 102 Intake Manifold.

My question.....

My old build used 60# injectors with a P1 and stock internals.
My new build will use 80# injectors.

I have had conflicting recommendations on breaking in the engine. One tuner says keep the 60# injectors in during a 400 mile break in period as to not wash down the cyLinder walls if using the 80# ones. Another says go ahead and install the 80# injectors as the ECM will compensate with a lower rate and swapping injectors after break in right before dynotuning the car is a waste of time.

Anyone with experience and opinions welcome to comment.

Thanks all.

The 80lb injectors will need to be rescaled to not wash the cylinders. Technically doesn't matter as long as the 80s are scaled before startup. Yes it will run and drive with the 80s but I'd hate to see you glaze a/multiple cylinders on a brand new build from not scaling.

If it's a closed loop tune it's going to adjust back to stoich on it's own anyways. I.e. the whole purpose of fuel trims and oxygen sensors...

The adjustments won't happen @ WOT, but for light throttle stuff it will be fine

Regardless, changing injectors takes what, 10 minutes? If you're worried about it just leave the 60's in and change them later.
