Default Newbie Question on e38 ppm

In the spark maps it reads cylinder air mass, 40* in the top left corner. This is on a 08 zo6 ls7 car. I am not sure how to go about adding timing or removing timing in the chart (i do not know how to read the chart). To be complete honest I only know a little about gen 3 ls1 pcm's this is all brand new to me and I would like to tune on my personal car a little. but will eventually have it professionally tuned when I do heads and a cam.

Default

HP Tuners or EFI Live?

On HPT the top left is where you'd be around idle. WOT will go towards bottom right. Exactly where you'll end up is going to depend on what mods you have or don't have. The only way to really know is to log it and see.

If you want to add timing make the numbers higher. If you want to remove it, make them lower

You can highlight areas and hit the + or - button on your keyboard and it will increase/decrease the whole selection.
