Do you have an iPhone or Android phone?

The cheapest way to read basic info, if you have an ios/android device is to pick up an ELM327 interface off of Amazon. ios=need wifi version, android=bluetooth version

Then download dash command for your device and voila, you have basic logging, can read/delete codes and see all kinds of other info for less than the cost of a cheap chinese hand held code reader that can't do anything else.

Should cost under $40 total.

Good deal. Yeah that's what I have too and it works great. Can read fuel trims, intake air temps, etc. with it as well.
