Default AEM Wideband Slow Response?

Just installed the AEM UEGO in the ARH X pipe of my c6z, but the gauge has a good 2 second delay when responding to changes. I'll be cruising, then go WOT and it'll take a couple seconds to read 11.6 or so (diagnosing a rich issue), then once I let off, another 2 seconds before it reads lean again.

I'm not so concerned with the delay in the gauge as the datalogging part of it. Is it the gauge, the x pipe location, or is this normal?

How old is that setup?

Just googling AEM uego response time gets me all kinds of results complaining about the same thing

Is the delay also showing up when logging or just on the display or both? What version of HPT are you using, if that's what you're using?

Brand new just got it this week. Haven't tried using it with hptuners yet. Still have to figure the PID out.

It isn't bad to setup. I did some step by step tutorials on HP Tuners forum for their latest software

Got it figured out. Delay must've been in my head because it looks great in the datalogs.

Running one of the newer fail safes. Zero issues. Datalogs into HP tuners just fine.
