C6 Service column lock problem
I have read previous post on this and bought the Steering Lock Eliminator Kit to try and solve my problem which was no start and Steering Column Lock code. When I got to the point where you put your foot on the brake and put the car in accessory the column did not unlock. I went ahead with the installation which allowed me to get the car started but the wheel stayed locked. Is there some way to get the steering column unlocked?

You can apply power to the lock to get it to unlock manually. Some of the companies that sell column lock eliminators also sell an adapter that does that.
