Default P0106 code

Car started running rough then stalled after hard acceleration. Bone stock (AFAIK) 2008 C6.

Felt just like when I blew a hose off the MAF on previously owned blown cars.

Scanner show P0106, and vacuum all over the place when running (really rough).

Any suggestion which hoses to check first? I've only had the car since April and this is the first problem of this type in the 15K miles I've put on since then. Haven't really been under the hood, but a quick look shows nothing obvious.

that code indicates a problem with your map sensor (manifold absolute pressure) check to make sure it has not become disconnected

It's connected. Just didn't want to replace the sensor without knowing what else to check first.

Also if it helps at all with suggestions, the car under WOT has a quick misfire/hiccup, typically in 3rd gear but always in mid range Rpms.
