I've been doing weight reduction on my car removing random stuff, and I found a metal bracket that goes to nothing driver side under hood near washer reservoir. After looking up other pictures of other C6's I found some have an extra thing to fill up, added some pictures, the one with arrows is pointing toward the fill up point, another picture fuzzy shows kind of what the cap looks like, and the other picture with a red circle shows my base model without anything there (except mine has a bracket)

What is this?


I'm assuming GM left it there before finalizing the vehicle? Or maybe it was added by accident during production? Or maybe it held some wires or something in place. Who knows, bracket for clutch reservoir even though my cars automatic, anyway, seeing as how other automatics don't have it, I removed the bracket
