Is anyone using a Bluetooth OBDII iPhone/android connection for their C6?
Are they any good and are their any shortcomings with them?
Thanks

Yes, I use them for data acquisition at the track as well as pulling/reading codes. They work very well. There are no shortcomings. Just plug it in and leave it there forever (it's what I do).
Here are the two that I have:
This is probably the best consumer grade one out there. Costs $80 but is very fast and works well:
Here is the second, more affordable one I have:
Both work very well. If you simply need to pull codes or monitor diagnostic information, then get the second one.
Then download the free version of Torque (lite) from the google play app store. It will connect to the bluetooth signal and let you read and view codes and monitor various parameters.

Yes it sure can and it does the job perfectly. There are a variety of programs that will do it. I personally use TrackAddict (Or Harry's Lap Timer). It is a program you download to your cell phone (free). It interfaces with the OBDII sensor via the Bluetooth signal. It will record video, audio and any engine parameters you set that it can read from the OBDII connection.

You can record OBD data through your phone (with an ELM327 interface) and also record video through your phone or a gopro. They have software that lets you put it all together with gauge overlays, etc. It takes a little bit of learning but it works quite well.
