LG Headers Rock!
I am truly impressed. This is not a sales pitch, but it may sound like one.
I've been working on mail order programming for the C6, and my good friend, Jim Booth of Corvette Accessories Unlimited, let me experiment with his C6 today. I programmed a raw ECM through GM's Service Programming System today, by downloading the PCM files to a fresh ECM.
After performing the CKP learn function, and idle learn function, I flashed our latest Corvette Challenge Program and wrapped things up within about 30 minutes. The MIS2000 Software, Tech 2, and SPS online programming is incredible. More fun than I should be allowed to have in job form. The LS2Edit software has matured, and is so easy to work with.
Two weeks ago, I tried to do the CKP (crank position variation learn) after the LS2 Edit, and found that the Tech 2 did not want to talk to the ECM with the LS2 software installed. Today, by reversing the order of these events, I was able to take care of business.
Now the fun. Jim's car is stock except for the Halltech Stinger, LGM LT Headers, B&B exhaust and our programming. Oh, and he opted to run catless!
This car was breaking loose at 65 mph in second gear! Holy Schniky!
I have driven this car in the past, and dynoed it with just our Stinger at 355 RWHP. I can estimate that it is hovering around 390 to 395 today. Man what a difference the headers make.
Sound? Track only for me. Way too loud for the street without the cats onboard, and too much droning in 5th and 6th gear, but you could drive next to a cop in fourth without getting cited.
Halltech's C6 Z06 made 476 RWHP with just Lou's headers onboard, up from the 448 RWHP stock.
The quality of the build on these headers is superb. The merge collectors are the reason these put more hp and torque to the pavement than the competition.
This mod is definately worth the price of admission, but keep the cats onboard.

Go big or don't go...
I'm biased tho - I love the sound of the engine with the new headers (corsa). It took me a bit to get used to them; since EVERYONE knew I was there. Now I use the sound to my driving advantage. When I want to russle the cows I just get here high RPMs and they start to move like racers...
Anyway, great torque all through to 6000+ RPM. Today I was up to 160mph on "private track" with top down. Something I just couldn't get it to do in 5TH gear before - wanted to hold at 150. 160 was still giving and I'm sure I could have been to 170 if I had more "track"
I think I need a safer car though; I'm doing 20mph more than terminal velocity without a roll-cage. I'm thinking I'm nuts!

Had it out Friday before the Snow! Need to work on the rear as it has way too much wheel hop! Thinking about ZO6 Shocks and rear bar? Any ideas?
Thanks again for your "Quickie". Seems to be running great. I agree on the sound, but with a six speed you can just go to a lower gear! It's louder than your ZO6!
Have Magnaflows and the stock exhaust yet and might try them this summer!
