Why add weight to it? Just put a bicycle seat and a steering wheel on it,oh and of course a Z51 badge!

The benefits:

1. No orange peel, yet Corvette performance
2. No Ipod configuration issues
3. Easily worked on
4. No top to fly off
5. Passenger?, I doubt anyone would consider riding on/in that thing
6. Insurance rates for a "go cart"
7. Z06 wheels without adding the fenders
8. Maggie without adding the hood
9. Better MPG
10. More sunshine than a vert/C6 targa

Hell, I'd put in my Living Room, slap on a glass top and make a table out of it.

Look close, there is no frame. Drive train and suspension only.

plus

plus a little scaling up on the plans, and you would have a Lotus 7 on steroids.

That should answer the concerns of anyone who thinks the C6 has gotten too luxury car like.
