Default LAPD Installing Fifth C6 APS TT Kit Now!!!!

Dear C6 owners,

We just started the install on another C6 APS TT. This car is a 2005 C6manual trans and with as much practice as we have had with the APS kits, the install is going very smooth. We are also installing an RPS clutch to handle the power that this C6 will be putting out. We will also be installing Wilwood's 6/4 big brake kit, KW shocks and Z51 sway bars.

Here are the pics of the install so far. If you have any questions on the APS TT kit for your C6, please feel free to contact us.

ENJOY!

Thanks!

Shawn

john_sblendorio,

Please email or call us for a full install quote. Thank you.

ricatthebeach,

The last 2005 C6 manual trans APS kit we did put down 563RWHP/567 RWTQ on 91 octane and 110 degrees outside when we tuned and dyno tested it.

Shawn, Can a stock engine/drivetrain handle that much hp/torque? I know you're changing out the clutch; but what about the rest of the drivetrain?

ricatthebeach,

The C6's drivetrain has been tested by APS to handle more power than what we achieved on the last manual C6 we did with the APS kit and APS did some nice hard miles on that C6 in the video they have on their site. They have been fine so far with no problems to report back.

VETTE-NV,

We have installed APS TT kits on two C6s that were equipped with the A6 tranny and so far, they are running great with no problems. Since GM hasn't released any concrete data about how much power the A6 can handle, we limited the amount of boost to 6 psi at WOT. Those cars put out about 502-502 RWHP and that amount of power on an A6 C6 feels as if the car is putting out much more.

corvette dave,

This particular C6 will see 8-9 psi at WOT being it is a manual trans with an upgraded clutch to handle this amount of power/torque.

Thanks.....I had an APS TT system installed on my 350Z by Dyno-Comp in Scottsdale last year. It really transformed the car into a monster....and I mean that in a good way! Could you PM me with some prices for the system and install? I live in Vegas, so I'm not too far away.

I was very impressed with what APS did for that undeprowered (from the factory) Nissan.....I ended up with about 410 WHP and a safe tune. I can't imagine how much fun such a system would be in the Vette.

The APS kit makes the C6 a joy to drive. You just don't want to stop driving the car.

I will PM you.

Thanks!

Shawn
