If you are talking about the front air dam that is on hinges then it removes easily and is a fairly cheap part. I think less than fifty bucks. Best bet would be get a new one to paint because the old one probably has some scratches.

I do not scrape mine but I drive like an old lady on the street. Plus my licence plate is the first line of defense when it comes to scraping.

Howdy!
Install a trailer hitch and hook up some chains to it - then get a 5-ton boom crane and a 1000 gallon tub of white paint - one dunk and it's all done!
Plus you'll get sweet matching white tires, trim, brakes, etc., and if you leave the windows down, an equally sweet matching white interior!

The front lip/air dam is in 3 peices. It is very soft so if you paint it add significant flex to the paint. Three or four fasteners for each piece. If you paint it, plan on a re-paint every month or so. The rear is a little stiffer but still flexes. I have never had it off so I am not sure. Good luck.

Dude...
I know people have given you a lot of grief, but your ride looks good style-wise, knowing that YOU said some of the add-ons will be done "correctly" as cash flow permits!
Honestly, even some of the accepted mods some people do are *way* tacky, so hey, each to their own.
Definitely don't take anything I say other than just a little joshin' with you.

............now that you showed a picture of your rear I think it looks great in White, very custom. When I had a C5 the rear was all the same color and C4 people use to comment that the butt/rear of the car looked way too big. I think GM was listening and this was their way of breaking it up .......nice job......looks good both ways....
